عثر على اربع جثث بين انقاض طائرة بمحركين تحطمت فوق منزلين في منطقة صناعية بكونيتيكت، كما ذكر مسؤولون في هذه الولاية في شمال شرق الولايات المتحدة. وذكر رئيس جهاز الاطفاء في مدينة ايست هافن ان جثتين اخرجتا من الطائرة واثنتين اخريين من بين الانقاض، من دون تقديم مزيد من التفاصيل. وكان طفل في عامه الاول وفتى في الثالثة عشرة في احد المنزلين اللذين تحطمت فوقهما الطائرة. وكانت السلطات تحدثت حتى الان عن جثتين، الاولى لطفل كان موجودا في منزل تحطمت الطائرة فوقه، والثانية لرجل هو الطيار

Two victims were from the plane, while two were in a house that was hit.

Four bodies have been recovered from the charred wreckage of two Connecticut homes after a small plane trying to land on Friday slammed into the houses and burst into flames, a fire official said Saturday.
"We were able to pull four bodies from the plane and one of the homes,'' East Haven Fire Department Assistant Chief Chuck Licata said at a press conference.

The dead on the plane were the pilot, former Microsoft executive Bill Henningsgaard of Medina, Wash., and his teenage son, Maxwell, according to authorities and the website of Eastside Pathways, a nonprofit in Bellevue, Wash., where Henningsgaard served as executive director.
Licata said two children who had been in one of the East Haven, Conn., homes were also among those confirmed dead. Police identified them as Sade Brantley, 13, and Madisyn Mitchell, 1.

The other house that the Rockwell International Turbo Commander 690B twin-engine turbo prop plane crashed into late Friday morning was vacant, National Transportation Safety Board investigators said.

When the plane hit the first home, it impacted "the side of house inverted between 60 and 70 degrees," Patrick Murray, the NTSB investigator in charge, said on Saturday.

HARTFORD, Conn. — The plane accident that killed four people in a Connecticut neighborhood was not the first crash for the pilot, a former Microsoft executive who was taking his teenage son on a tour of East Coast colleges.
The pilot, Bill Henningsgaard, was presumed killed along with his son, Maxwell, and two children who were inside a house struck by the small propeller-driven plane on Friday. Four bodies were recovered from the wreckage and sent to the Connecticut medical examiner's office on Saturday for identification, officials said.

Henningsgaard, a highly regarded philanthropist, was flying a small plane to Seattle in 2009 with his mother when the engine quit. He crash-landed on Washington's Columbia River.

"I forced myself to confront that fact that the situation any pilot fears -- a mid-air emergency, was happening right then, with my mother in the plane," he wrote in a blog post days later.

In the Connecticut crash, Henningsgaard was coming in for a landing at Tweed New Haven Airport in rainy weather just before noon when the plane struck two small homes, engulfing them in flames. The aircraft's left wing lodged in one house and its right wing in the other, with its tail section coming to rest upside down.

Two children, ages 1 and 13, have been missing since the plane crashed into their home. As their mother yelled for help from the front lawn, several people in the working-class neighborhood raced to rescue the children, but they were forced to turn back by the fire.

Authorities said previously that as many as six people could have died in the crash, but East Haven Deputy Fire Chief Anthony Moscato said the four recovered late Friday are believed to be the only victims. On Saturday, crews removed charred sections of the plane as National Transportation Safety Board investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
