هبطت صباح أمس طائرة «طيران الخليج» في مطار بغداد الدولي لتكون أول ناقلة خليجية والثانية عربيا تصل إلى العراق في رحلة مباشرة ومنتظمة منذ نحو عشرين عاما.
ووصلت الرحلة G201 التي أقلعت قرابة الساعة العاشرة والنصف صباحا لتصل إلى مطار بغداد الدولي قرابة الحادية عشرة و40 دقيقة في رحلة تاريخية تؤكد فتح صفحة جديدة من العلاقات البحرينية العراقية.
وقال الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة طيران الخليج، الناقلة الوطنية لمملكة البحرين، سامر المجالي: «خطتنا هي تسيير ما مجموعه خمس وجهات إلى العراق وهي بغداد، النجف، أربيل، البصرة والسليمانية، وإن خدماتنا ستبدأ إلى كل من النجف وأربيل في 15 سبتمبر/ أيلول».
